The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical suspension for oral administration with improved resuspension and dissolution properties, comprising a therapeutically effective amount of suspended levocloperastine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, at least one suspending agent; at least one surfactant and an effective amount of a sweetener composition to provide a pleasant taste, wherein the drug substance, levocloperastine fendisoate, is characterized by a particle size distribution (D) of less than 100 μm as measured by laser diffraction.
