The invention relates to a novel and improved method for producing (3S)-3-(4-chlor-3-{[(2S,3R)-2-(4-chlorphenyl)-4,4,4-trifluor-3-methylbutanoyl]amino}phenyl)-3-cyclo-propylpropanoic acid of the formula (I), to the compound of the formula (I) in a crystalline form, and to the use thereof for treating and/or preventing diseases, in particular for treating and/or preventing cardiovascular, cardiopulmonary, and cardiorenal diseases.
