The invention provides a new method for selectively recovering copper from waste electrical and electronic equipment.In particular, printed circuit boards ("Ci") are used,Glycine solution was used as copper extractant. This method is characterized by manual removal of CIC, CIC spray, CIC powder screening, selective leaching of copper from CIC powder, filtration and electrodeposition recovery of copper. The invention provides a special economic, ecological and effective method for selectively recovering more than 94% copper in CI waste.
