The present invention relates to a filter passband microwave based on CLRH type metamaterial lines, the equivalent electrical circuit of the filter, as well as its design methodology. The said circuit is validated by presenting the design of an example of a double band filter with passbands in 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz, resulting in insertion losses close to zero and return losses higher than -10dB, within a bandwidth fractional of up 24.45% to 12% for the first and second passband. The filter has good selectivity, checked due to the presence of two transmission zeros of 2,059 GHz, 2,761 GHz, 5,386 GHz, and 6,215 GHz.
