摘要

Provided are: a wave gear speed reducer for which both load torque performance and productivity can be improved; a wave gear speed reducer production method; and an actuator for an internal combustion engine link mechanism. The wave gear speed reducer is provided with: a flexible external gear with multiple external teeth with a linear tooth profile; a rigid internal gear, which is disposed on the outside of the flexible external gear and has linear-tooth-profile internal teeth with a greater number of teeth than the external teeth, and has a shape such that the tops of the internal teeth, when viewed from the direction of the rotational axis of the flexible external gear, coincide or overlap with the movement envelope curve of the external teeth; and a wave motion generator for bending the flexible external gear in the radial direction to partially engage the same with the rigid internal gear and for moving the engagement portion in the circumferential direction by rotating around the rotational axis.
