Connecting sleeve (1) for stacking two containers, in particular of the "Danish 5-cart" type, which are provided with downwardly extending legs (2) and upwardly extending uprights (3) and uprights extend in line. The connecting sleeve is adapted to receive therein or at least therewith on the one hand the end of one of the legs 10 of the upper container and therein to receive at least on the other hand the end of the corresponding upright of the lower container.
