A horse trailer 1 is provided with displacing means 13, 15 for moving a saddle box 11 between a first position in or on the horse trailer and a second position next to the horse trailer on the ground on which the horse trailer is present. The saddle box 11 is releasably coupled to the displacement means 13, 15. The moving means are provided with lifting means 13 for moving the saddle box 11 in the vertical direction and a pivoting arm 15 connected to the lifting means for moving the saddle box 11 in a horizontal direction. Saddles and other items are often stored in a saddle box in a horse enclosure . By taking the whole saddle box with you when transporting a horse, you can be sure that you will not forget anything. The saddle cupboard therefore does not have to be removed and put in, but only brought to the horse trailer where it is placed in the horse trailer by the moving means.
