The subject of the application is a compound called 3ss,11? dihydroxy-5? -chloro-17a-oxa-D-homo-6,19-oxidoandrostan-17-one with model 2 and its mode of production. This is because the enzymatic system contained in the Beauveria Bassiana KCh BBT cells results in the hydrolysis of the acetyl group at C-3, regionally selective hydroxylation at 11? and Baeyera-Villigera type D oxidation. The product thus obtained is extracted from the aquatic culture of the micro-organism by extraction by an organic solvent that does not mix with water (chloroform).
