The subject of the report is 3ss-Hydroxy-5? -chloro-6,19-oxidoandrostan-17-one and how to produce 3ss-hydroxy-5? -chloro-6,19-oxidoandrostan-17-one with formula 2. According to the solution, the enzyme system contained in Trichoderma atroviride KCh TRW cells results in the hydrolysis of the acetyl group at C-3. The product thus obtained is extracted from the aquatic culture of the micro-organism by extraction by an organic solvent that does not mix with water (chloroform).
