The object of the invention is pyridine-2-yl-vinylpyridinyl derivatives with fluorescent properties and their mode of synthesis. In the first aspect, new derivatives of pyridine-2-yl-vinylpyridinyl, etc., are the subject of the invention. of general formula 3. In the second aspect, the object of the invention is the synthesis of pyridine-2-yl-vinylpyridinyl derivatives of general formula 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 in which the constituents R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 have the above mentioned meaning. These compounds are used as a fluorescent marker, in particular for the labelling of nucleic acids, nucleosides, nucleotides, peptides or proteins,which can be detached from the labelled biocidal product without damaging or degrading it. These effects cannot be obtained with known fluorescent markers.
