MESOPOROUS LAYER FOR PEROVSKITE-BASED SOLAR CELLS AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME

The invention relates to mesoporous oxide thin layers of rough reticular structure, such as titanium dioxide TiO, made by pneumatic spraying of a suspension of crystalline oxide nanoparticles, and to a method for preparing the same, the layers being intended to be used in a broad range of applications, in particular in perovskite-based solar cells and in the medical field. According to the invention, the mesoporous layer consists of thin films of TiOnanoparticles forming a reticular structure with craters having diameters in the range of 1.9...37 μ m and depths in the range of 0.2...1.3 μ m. The preparation method, as claimed by the invention, comprises the following stages: chemical substrate cleaning using detergent and water and then chemical solvents, such as acetone and alcohol; physical substrate cleaning using a dry treatment in oxygen plasma; preparation of a precursor solution as a dispersion in ethanol, from a paste containing oxidic nanoparticles of TiO, in volumetric ratios from 1:100 to 1:300; film deposition, by spraying the precursor solution from distances ranging between 5...30 cm in relation with the substrate, at spraying gas pressures of 0.5...3.5 Kgf/cm, while maintaining the substrate at a temperature which permits quick solvent evaporation; a furnace sintering treatment which permits the TiOnanoparticles to be fixed onto the substrate.
