The invention relates to a hybrid system for generating circular polarization and adjusting wavefront for laser beams. According to the invention, the system comprises two plane mirrors (1 and 3) and a deformable mirror (2), arranged so that the direction of an input beam is collinear with that of the output beam, having the mirror positioning angles so selected that the phase introduced between the polarization components of S- and P-type is of approximately 90°, where the mirrors may move, integral to one another, about the axis of the incident beam propagation, for controlling the ratio between the intensities of the polarization components of S- and P-type, and where the deformable mirror (2) is used for adapting the wavefront.
