The invention relates to a process for obtaining the cathodes of the Li-ion type batteries of high energy density. According to the invention, the process consists in preparing the mixtures based on active material - lithium-manganese oxide, support conductive material - acetylene blank and binder - polyvinylidene fluoride in a weight ratio of 90 : 5 : 5 in the case of cathodes and conductive material - graphite, binder 1 of butadiene-styrene copolymer type and binder 2 of carboxymethylcellulose type in a weight ratio of 97.5 : 1.5 : 1 in the case of anodes, depositing the mixtures so obtained on the both sides of the aluminium foil and copper foil, respectively, the resulting electrodes being thermally treated to obtain stable uniform flawless surfaces which, in the end, are morphologically characterized.
