The versatile table lamp, in addition to the base for holding the pen (2), includes a lamp support (3), lamp shade and lamp holder (6), a lamp transformer (9), a dimmer button (9a), a convex glass cover (11) that is attached to undersides of lamp shades and lamp holders (6), power cord (7), plug (8), USB power adapter (5) and calendar and / or schedule display (4). The base for holding pens, which is an integral part of the versatile table lamp (1), comprises a rotating base (13) mounted centrally in the base for holding pens (2) and a plurality of partitions (14) defining a plurality of slots (15) which are located between two adjacent partitions (14).
