A method for producing an additive that can be used as a partial substitute to activators and accelerators for vulcanizing natural rubber. The resulting vulcanizing additive that can be used as a partial substitute to activators and accelerators comprises an at least one fatty acid amide, and at least one bentonite clay, wherein the at least one fatty acid amide is loaded into the bentonite clay. The partial substitute to activators and accelerators can replace up to 50 pcnt of a sulfur vulcanization activator system or accelerator system for natural rubber.
