This utility model generally relates to fertilizers and their composition. Specifically, it is directed to a method of making an organic fertilizer made from decomposed plant biomass, manure, and carbonized rice hull. The steps in making the organic fertilizer comprises piling or layering the raw materials, adding the decomposing culture to the raw materials during piling, turning or mixing the pile, air-drying of the compost, filtering the dry compost to have uniform particle size, and packing the filtered compost into sacks. The raw materials are layered following the ratio of 3 parts plant biomass to 1 part manure to 1 part carbonized rice hull. The decomposing culture added to the pile is inoculated in soil and rice bran mixture. Mixing or turning of the pile occurs every 2 weeks for 3 months. The compost is air-dried until moisture decreases to 30-35 pcnt . After filtering, 50kg of compost is packed into sacks with plastic lining.
