A COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED METHOD OF PROVIDING AN APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACE (API) BASED TRANSACTION

The present utility model is directed to a computer-implemented method of providing an application programming interface (API) based transaction in a computer based system. The method comprises the steps of: (1) receiving, by a processor of the computer based system, a funds transfer transaction request from a first financial services provider (FSP) having a first API via transmission control protocol (TCP) and internet protocol (IP) networks; and (2) causing, by the processor, fulfilment of the funds transfer request between the first FSP and a second FSP having a second API via the first and second APIs and an API integration system associated with the processor and integrating the first API and the second API.
