Provided is an inverter system 1 for elevators comprising: a motor control circuit 210 for supplying power to and thereby controlling a motor 100a for raising and lowering a car 14 of an elevator 2; a normal waveform storage unit 251 for storing normal waveform information representing the operating waveform of an inverter when the elevator 2 operates under a prescribed operating condition; and an anomaly assessment unit 244 for assessing whether the motor control circuit 210 is working normally on the basis of the normal waveform information stored in the normal waveform storage unit 251, by comparing the normal waveform information with working waveform information representing the operating waveform in the motor control circuit 210 when the working elevator 2 operates under the prescribed operating condition.
