A method for partitioning a high-power white-light LED fluorescent powder micro-coating region, comprising: acquiring a coated substrate image and pre-processing the substrate image, the pre-processed substrate image separating the three channels of chromaticity, saturation, and lightness; implementing threshold partitioning based on histograms to obtain darker coloured coated regions; and, on the basis of the region growth of the threshold partition results, obtaining the final partition region. The present method has highly precise detection results, and is suitable for use in industrial production.
