An inner diameter (d) of the grip (40) is greater than an outer cross-sectional dimension (ds, outer) of the shaft (20). The dumbbell (1) further comprising a first ball bearing (51) and a second ball bearing (52), wherein an outer ring (51 a) of the first ball bearing (51) is connected to the first dumbbell head (31), and an inner ring (51b) of the first ball bearing (51) is fixedly arranged to the first end (41) of the hollow grip (40), and an outer ring (52a) of the second ball bearing (52) is connected to the second dumbbell head (32), and an inner ring (52b) of the second ball bearing (52) is fixedly arranged to the second end (42) of the hollow grip (40).
