A built-in electric device with uniform luminance, comprising a plate (10) coupled to a functional frame (13); the plate (10) has a central opening (38), inside which electrical appliances coupled with respective control buttons are housed. The device includes an optical assembly, coupled to the functional frame (13) and formed by a first light guide (20) which collects the light coming from LED diodes (23) placed on the functional frame (13). The optical assembly comprises at least one second light guide (29) shaped as a parallelepiped, which is placed on the functional frame (13) and which has a first surface (35) for entering the light radiation coming from the LED diodes (23) at one of the shorter sides (34) of the parallelepiped, a second shaped surface (36), placed at one of the longer sides (32, 33) of the parallelepiped, and a third surface (37), placed at a further longer side (32, 33) of the parallelepiped and opposite to the second shaped surface (36), from which the light radiation exits, said light radiation being sent to the first light guide (20).
