The invention relates to a method for determining at least one geometrical-morphological, postural or behavioral characteristic of a wearer of a pair of glasses. According to the invention, the method comprises steps: a) lighting the wearer's head using an infrared light source (220, 230, 240), b) acquisition by a sensor of infrared images (210) of an image of the wearer's head, c) localization on the acquired image of the reflections from the infrared light source reflected by the two lenses of the pair of glasses, and d) deduction by a unit (250) for calculating the desired characteristic as a function of the positions of the reflections on said image.
