Dentifrice compositions can include an antibacterial agent as an anti-plaqueagent, however,antibacterial agents can react with other dentifrice components. Disclosedherein are dentifricecompositions with high water, a calcium-containing abrasive and polyethyleneglycol. Thesedentifrice compositions have an alkaline pH to inherently provide improvedanti-plaque benefits,which would minimize the use of an antibacterial agent.
