Aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and systems for indoorpositioning of a devicethrough a fusion of a plurality of Bluetooth signals. Specifically, theembodiments of the presentdisclosure relate to the optimization module which determines the optimalnumber and location ofBluetooth transmitters or beacons in an indoor environment. Other aspectsrelate to the estimationmodule which determine the location of devices in an indoor environment byusing the Bluetoothsignals from the Bluetooth beacons as well as the Bluetooth signals from otherdevices. Theestimation module involves the fusion process to estimate, update, and refinethe locations of theusers in the indoor environment.
