SOIL CORROSIVITY MAPPING METHOD AND APPARATUS

A plurality of disparate datasets is aggregated into a geodata data structurespecifying aplurality of geospatial locations and a set of aspatial parameters at eachgeospacial location.Each aspatial parameter is combined at each geospacial location to generate acorrosivityscale parameter at each of the plurality of geospatial locations. A grid withcells representingeach of the plurality of geospatial locations and each of the correspondingcorrosivity scaleparameters is created. The grid is stored for output of at least a portion ofthe plurality ofgeospatial locations and the corresponding corrosivity scale parametersoverlaid on ageographic map. The innovation can be used in corrosion risk assessment ofundergroundstructures related to oil and gas, water/waste water and electric powertransmission/distribution structures.
