A device associated with a vehicle may receive a device identifier of a userdevice that isregistered to an authorized user or user identification data associated withthe authorized user.The device may include a secure element, and may receive, from an infotainmentsystem,payment information associated with a transaction for a service. The devicemay secure thepayment information using an encryption technique that is to use a public keyassociated with thedevice identifier or the user identification data to encrypt the paymentinformation. The devicemay provide the payment information to the infotainment system, which mayprovide thepayment information to another device that is associated with an organizationproviding theparticular service. The other device may use a private key to decrypt thepayment information,process the payment information, and may perform actions relating to theservice based on thepayment information being successfully processed.
