The present disclosure provides a separator for a lithium rechargeable battery and a lithium rechargeable battery comprising same, the separator membrane comprising: a porous substrate; and an adhesive layer formed on the porous substrate. The adhesive layer comprises a particle-type binder in a core-shell structure comprising a core and a shell surrounding the core. The core comprises a first polymer of which the glass transition temperature is 30°C or lower. The shell comprises a second polymer of which the glass transition temperature is 40°C or higher. The diameter of the particle-type binder is 50 to 500 nm.
