METHOD FOR RECOVERING ROOM-TYPE COAL PILLARS BY CEMENTED FILLING OF RESERVED ROADWAYS

The invention discloses a method for recovering room-type coal pillars bycemented filling ofreserved roadways, which is especially suitable for safe and efficientrecovery of left coal pillars inroom-type mining faces in mining areas in western China where the ecologicalsystem is fragile. Inthe method, by constructing reserved roadways in two adjacent rows of room-type goafs, excavatingcoal pillar roadways in room-type coal pillars, and finally interconnectingthe reserved roadways withthe coal pillar roadways to form a U-shaped working face, room-type left coalpillars are recovered.Thus, not only the workload of roadway excavation is reduced, but also therecovery ratio of the coalresources is maximized. The method provides a novel technical model for therecovery of room-typeleft coal pillars in mining areas in western China, is of great scientific andengineering significance,and has broad application prospects.
