Methods and systems for assistant positioning and navigation based on Smart Address Plates are provided. The method comprises: a mobile device to be positioned retrieving address-related information of one room/space from a server based on the address identification broadcasted by a Smart Address Plate associated with the room/space, and confirming the arrival of the mobile device to the room/space based on the address-related information and the distance between the mobile device and the Smart Address Plate associated with the room/space. With the assistant of Smart Address Plates, the system can confirm the arrival of a user to the destination automatically and accurately.
