A burner (3) and a lap welding machine for rolled hot-melt material having said burner. The burner (3) comprises a frame (1), a gas mixing pipe (302) and a burner head (301). A sliding piece (105) is provided on the frame (1), and a fastener (106) is provided on the sliding piece (105). The gas mixing pipe (302) is able to be fastened onto the fastener (106). The burner head (301) is connected to one end of the gas mixing pipe (302), and a plurality of gas outlet holes on are provided in one side of the burner head (301). The present burner (3) is able to provide an even flame, while also allowing adjustment of the position of the burner head, thus being more convenient to use. The present lap welding machine for rolled hot-melt material is able to improve the effect of the lap welding machine on rolled waterproofing material.
