METHOD FOR PROCESSING WHOLE HEMP STALKS TO FORM DRY HEMP PRODUCT COMPRISING CANNABINOID OIL

A method for processing leaves or flower buds of hemp plants that havecannabinoid oil therein comprises, after the leaves or the flower buds areseparatedfrom stalks of hemp plants, forced-air drying the leaves or the flower buds,at a firstdrying station, to a moisture content of no greater than about 10% by applyingair heatedto a temperature of no greater than about 130 degrees Fahrenheit such that theleavesor the flower buds retain the cannabinoid oil therein. The method furtherincludes, at asecond drying station, further drying the leaves or the flower buds so as tobecomecured, wherein the leaves or flower buds have a prescribed moisture contentbelow 5%at which the leaves or the flower buds cannot decompose while still retainingthecannabinoid oil therein, by circulating air through the leaves or the flowerbuds.
