The invention relates to a protective dressing for abdominal viscera for open-abdomen application of negative pressure therapy, made up of an upper layer, an intermediate layer and a lower layer, each consisting of a laminar body. The upper layer includes a plurality of first openings for the passage of fluids and the intermediate layer includes numerous bubbles filled with low-pressure gas and a plurality of second openings for the passage of fluids. Said bubbles prevent possible damage to the abdomen and prevent the layers from adhering to one another. The three layers are adhered to one another by the respective perimeter edges thereof.
