A mold for use in producing a burrless metal piece, comprising a machine frame (1), an upper mold (2) and a lower mold (3) provided on the machine frame (1) and fitting each other. An upper shaping cavity (21) is provided at the bottom part of the upper mold (2). A through groove (22) is provided at the top part of the upper mold (2). The through groove (22) is in communication with the upper shaping cavity (21). A top rod (4) also is provided on the machine frame (1). The machine frame (1) is connected to the top rod (4) via a telescoping component (5). The top rod (4) is pivotally connected at one end to the telescoping component (5) and provided at the other end with a top (41). The top (41) runs through the through groove (2) to be provided within the upper shaping cavity (21). A material storing groove (411) is provided on the top (41). By improving an adhesive injection process and focusing on the handling of overflowing adhesive, burring is prevented during an adhesive injection process, thus obviating a post-treatment process, saving labor costs and equipment costs, saving time, and increasing production efficiency.
