Disclosed is a control system for an ultra-wideband ground-penetrating radar, the control system comprising a synchronization clock generation circuit, a GPS positioning module, a measuring wheel encoder module, a numerically controlled delay circuit and an analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) circuit for equivalent sampling, and a main controller, wherein the synchronization clock generation circuit, the GPS positioning module, the measuring wheel encoder module, the numerically controlled delay circuit and the analog-to-digital conversion circuit are all connected to the main controller; the synchronization clock generation circuit is further connected to an external ultra-wideband radar transmitter; the numerically controlled delay circuit is further connected to an external equivalent-sampling sampling pulse generation circuit; the analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) circuit is further connected to an external equivalent-sampling sampling gate; and the main controller is further connected to an external server via the Ethernet. The volume of the control system for an ultra-wideband ground-penetrating radar is reduced, a connection cable for the system is simplified, and the reliability of an ultra-wideband radar system is improved.
