The invention relates to a method for the additive manufacturing of a structure (10, 10'), in particular by a powder bed method. The method comprises, layer by layer, a) applying a layer (S) of a base material (P), in particular a pulverous base material, to a manufacturing surface (HF), b) additively constructing the structure by selectively irradiating the applied layer in accordance with a predefined structure geometry, a region (B1, B2, 204) within a cross-section of the structure (10, 10') being excluded from the irradiation, in which region a coolant (210) is conducted during the additive construction of the structure (10) in order to cool the layer or the constructed structure. The invention further relates to a correspondingly manufactured component and to a corresponding device.
