A method for additively producing a structure (10, 10 ') is specified, in particular by means of a powder bed method. The method comprises in layers: a) the application of a layer (S) of a, in particular powdery, base material (P) to a production surface (HF), b), the additive construction of the structure by selective irradiation of the applied layer in accordance with a predetermined structural geometry, wherein within a cross section of the structure (10, 10 ') an area (B1, B2, 204) is left free from the radiation, in which a coolant (210) is guided during the additive construction of the structure (10) in order to remove the layer or to cool the built structure. Furthermore, a correspondingly manufactured component and a corresponding device are specified.
