The present inventive concept relates to an unfoldable layered connection (700) comprising: a substrate (702); a node of connector material (716, 216) arranged to contact the substrate; a first extension (740) comprising a core (246) of connector material arranged to be in contact with the node (716, 216), and flexible material arranged to at least partially enclose the core (246); a second extension (242) comprising a core (248) of connector material arranged to be in contact with the first extension (740) via a second node (241) of connector material, wherein the first extension (740) is configured to be hingedly connected to the node (716, 216), thereby allowing unfolding of the first extension (740) along a z-axis being perpendicular to an extension plane of a major surface of the substrate (702); and wherein the second extension (242) is hingedly connected to the second node (241), thereby allowing unfolding of the second extension (242) along the z-axis, and wherein the second node (241 ) is moveable along the z-axis via unfolding of the first extension (740). The inventive concept further relates to a method for manufacturing an unfoldable layered connection.
