The present invention relates to a raw material composition for manufacturing oxygen transfer particles, the raw material composition comprising: copper oxide; manganese oxide; magnesium oxide or magnesium hydroxide; and sol- or powder-type alumina oxide. The raw material composition for manufacturing oxygen transfer particles of the present invention is manufactured into oxygen transfer particles by controlling the composition, the formulation of raw materials, and the homogenizing degree according to the manufacturing method for oxygen transfer particles, to be later described, and thereafter, oxygen transfer particles can be manufactured that have physical properties, such as a shape, a particle size, and a size distribution, which are suitable for a fluidized bed or high-rate fluidized bed process, and retain commercial-grade oxygen transfer performance and durability at a low burning temperature while not using a high-priced nickel-based oxide as in the prior art.
