The present invention relates to the education informatization field, and provides a classroom cognitive load measuring system, comprising: a task completion degree feature collection module, configured to record a question answering response duration and question answering accuracy of a student when completing a task; a cognitive load self-rating collection module, configured to quantitatively analyze psychological effort degree and task subjective difficulty of the student; an expression and attention feature collection module, configured to collect a classroom performance video of the student and count a smiling duration and a fixation duration of the student according to a video analysis resu a feature fusion module, configured to fuse the six indexes into a feature vector; and a cognitive load determining module, configured to send the feature vector into a classifier to identify a classroom cognitive load level of the student. By means of the present invention, a cognitive load of the student in a classroom can be objectively, quickly, and accurately rated, thereby helping a teacher to improve organization and presentation modes of learning materials, reducing external cognitive loads caused thereby, and improving the teaching effect.
