A high-strength ultra-light weight fireproof green thermal insulation core material board and the method are provided, the fireproof thermal insulation core material board is prepared by water and the other raw materials, wherein the raw materials comprise 0.1-10% by weight of palm fibre based on the weight of the raw materials except water, and the fibre length ranges from 2-15mm. The fireproof thermal insulation core material board can realize many various excellent properties simultaneously: Density: Equal or less than 180 kg/m ³; Thermal conductivity: ≤ 0.055 W/m. K; Compression strength: ≥ 0.3MPa; and Combustion Performance: A1 standard. And its preparing method is low-cost, with low energy consumption, and the product as well as its manufacturing process is very friendly to environment.
