APPLICATION OF DGCR8 IN PREPARATION OF PRODUCT FOR TREATING AND/OR PREVENTING OSTEOARTHRITIS IN ANIMALS

Disclosed by the present invention is an application of DGCR8 in the preparation of a product for treating and/or preventing osteoarthritis in animals. The present invention finds that DGCR8 has the following functions: treating and/or preventing osteoarthritis in animals; treating and/or preventing animal osteoarthritis induced by severing the anterior cruciate ligament or osteoarthritis caused by physiological aging; delaying the aging of mesenchymal stem cells; delaying the replicative aging of mesenchymal stem cells; and delaying the pathological aging of mesenchymal stem cells. Experiments have shown that DGCR8 has a clear function of delaying the aging of mesenchymal stem cells, and has a clear therapeutic effect on osteoarthritis, thus providing novel ideas for the development of gene therapies used for osteoarthritis and expanding the selectable range of clinical gene therapies.
