An industrial temperature control device and a method therefor are disclosed. The industrial temperature control device comprises: a chamber in which an object to be heated is accommodated; a heater for applying thermal energy so as to heat the inside of the chamber; a temperature sensor for measuring the internal temperature of the chamber; and a controller for sensing changes in the applied thermal energy and adjusting a soak time on the basis of the variation of the thermal energy. Therefore, provided are an industrial temperature control device and a method therefor, the device allowing a temperature equalization time point to be determined before a thermal equilibrium time point of a center part thereof by reflecting an allowable temperature difference in the chamber, enabling a soak time to be corrected, and allowing the temperature equalization time point to be set on the basis of a full load state in which the variation of thermal energy applied per unit time is lowest at an allowable temperature limit approaching time point, such that the internal temperature is within an allowable upper/lower limit range even when being applied to a partial load state, and thus the present invention can be applied regardless of an accommodation amount of the object to be heated.
