Disclosed are an industrial temperature controller and a method thereof. The industrial temperature controller includes: a chamber installed to store a subject to be heated; a heater adding thermal energy to heat the inside of the chamber; a temperature sensor installed to measure the internal temperature of the chamber; and a control part sensing a change of the added thermal energy, and controlling soak time based on the change of the thermal energy. According to the present invention, an allowable temperature difference in the chamber is reflected to determine a moment for cracking before a moment for the heat balance of a central part and correct the soak time, and the moment for cracking is set on arrival at an allowable temperature limit based on a full load state with the smallest change of the thermal energy per unit time. Therefore, since the internal temperature stays within an allowable upper/lower limit range in spite of the application to a partial load state, the industrial temperature controller can be applied regardless of the capacity of subjects to be heated.
