According to one aspect of the present invention, this simulated texture presentation device comprises: an encapsulation body wherein powder and granular material have been encapsulated; a measurement means for measuring at least one index from among the temperature of the environment surrounding the encapsulation body, the humidity of the environment surrounding the encapsulation body, the temperature of the encapsulation body, and the amount of moisture on the surface of the encapsulation body; and an encapsulation body control means that controls the density of the powder and granular material in the encapsulation body according to the measured indices.
