The present invention relates to a composition for culturing cells, especially, dermal papilla cells and a dermal papilla cell culturing method using same and, more particularly, to a composition for culturing dermal papilla cells, the composition comprising Dulbeco's Modified Eagle's Medium (DMEM); and a medium selected from MCDB104, MCDB105, MCDB153, MCDB201, and MCBD202, and a dermal papilla cell culturing method using same. Given to culture dermal papilla cells, the culturing composition of the present invention, although being a serum-free medium, exhibits the advantage of culturing dermal papilla cells at a growth rate two or more times as large as those upon the use of conventional typical serum media for dermal papilla cells.
