The present invention relates to a living body detection method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a computer readable storage medium, improving the accuracy of living body detection. The method comprises: performing feature extraction on an acquired image to obtain image feature information; determining a modality classification result of the image on the basis of the image feature information, the modality classification result indicating that the image corresponds to a target modality among at least one modality; and determining whether a target object in the image is a living body on the basis of the modality classification result of the image.
