COMPUTER-ASSISTED PROCESS FOR MAKING A STYLISTIC PATTERN ON AN EXTERNAL SURFACE OF A VEHICULAR PRODUCT OR A MODEL CORRELATED TO SAID VEHICULAR PRODUCT

A computer-assisted process for making a stylistic pattern (S1-S9) on an external surface (11) of a vehicular product (1) comprising the steps of: carrying out, in a virtual environment and by means of a computer, a simulation of aerodynamic flow in pre-set operating conditions based on a first three-dimensional mathematical model (M1) of the vehicular product (1) in order to calculate a second three-dimensional mathematical model (G1, G2) representing the development of the aforesaid aerodynamic flow and/or of the values assumed by at least one pre-set operating quantity on at least part of the external surface of the first three-dimensional mathematical model (M1); generating, in a virtual environment and by means of a computer, a third three- dimensional mathematical model representing the stylistic pattern (S1-S9) to be made; and making the stylistic pattern (S1-S9) on the vehicular product (1); the third three-dimensional mathematical model representing the aforesaid stylistic pattern (S1-S9) is based on the second three-dimensional mathematical model (G1, G2).
