In the present invention, a user equipment transmits a random access channel (RACH) preamble and a base station receives the RACH channel. The base station sets the RACH preamble so that the boundary of the RACH preamble in a time domain coincides with the boundaries of OFDM symbols on which the RACH preamble is set. The user equipment generates/transmits the RACH preamble so that the boundary of the RACH preamble in a time domain coincides with the boundaries of the OFDM symbols on which the RACH preamble is set.
