Provided are: artificial feces that includes a base material and hemoglobin, and additionally includes one or more sugar alcohols and a hemoglobin fragment; and a method for stabilizing hemoglobin in artificial feces that includes a base material and hemoglobin, wherein the artificial feces is made to contain one or more sugar alcohols and a hemoglobin fragment. Since the artificial feces of the present invention contains a sugar alcohol and a hemoglobin fragment, hemoglobin is remarkably stabilized. Additionally, a method for managing the accuracy of a fecal occult blood test using the artificial feces is provided. By using the artificial feces, the accuracy of a fecal occult blood test can be conveniently managed.
