The present invention relates to a firefighting device that can be applied to or injected into a space requiring an application of the device, and a method for manufacturing an injection type firefighting device having a self-extinguishing function. The firefighting device comprises: a container provided with a hollow portion; and a fire-extinguishing liquid which is a sol/gel type injected into the hollow portion of the container and having a self-extinguishing function, wherein the fire-extinguishing liquid comprises: fire-extinguishing beads comprising polymer microcapsules containing fire-extinguishing components; and a binder comprising a ceramic powder and a copolymer that, when the fire-extinguishing liquid is applied to an object, allow the fire-extinguishing liquid to be evenly applied to the object and form an air layer to impart flexibility.
